ABOUT

TRUST IN THE SOUND

Culture Love Identity Family

Ekiti Sound is a Lagos–London producer, DJ, sound artist and broadcaster working at the intersection of African electronic music, cinematic sound, rap, and contemporary culture.

Known for blending Yoruba rhythm, UK soundsystem culture, hip-hop, ambient electronics and forward-facing African club music, his work moves fluidly between underground dance music, sonic storytelling, and immersive world-building.

His critically acclaimed releases on Crammed Discs — including Abeg No Vex and Drum Money — have helped position him as part of a new generation of African electronic artists reshaping global club culture. His music has also been published through Warner Chappell Music, Sony Music Publishing, and Strictly Confidential Publishing, with syncs and placements spanning television, radio, advertising, cinema, and streaming platforms.

Alongside his recording work, Ekiti Sound is the founder of the Lagos Music Conference and creator of The ADM Show — one of the first specialist African electronic music radio platforms broadcast across both Nigeria and the UK — documenting the rapid evolution of African dance music and diasporic club culture.

His wider practice spans sound design, immersive audio installation, film concepts, radio, and interdisciplinary collaborations, with projects and performances connected to galleries, cultural spaces, and experimental music environments in Lagos and London.

Drawing equally from Lagos nightlife, pirate radio, Yoruba storytelling traditions, film sound design, and global underground music movements, his work explores how sound can connect memory, identity, technology, and future-facing Black creativity.
