E.S.S.R is a boutique electronic music label founded by Ekiti Sound, focused on forward-facing African electronic music, cinematic club sounds, and experimental rhythm culture emerging from Lagos, London, and the wider diaspora. Blending underground dance music, sonic storytelling, ambient electronics, Afro-futurism, and contemporary Black club culture, E.S.S.R exists as both a record label and creative platform — championing music that feels emotionally rich, rhythmically adventurous, and globally connected while remaining rooted in distinct cultural identity.
